| Facebook for Business - What is the difference? | Facebook has a very strict set of policies regarding who can set up what on its network. Essentially, it comes down to one of two options:
1. Individuals create Profiles
2. Businesses create Pages
 Notice that both terms - Profiles and Pages - are capitalized. They are part of Facebook's network vocabulary and, thus, used as proper nouns. Unfortunately, the differences between the two are not always clearly defined, which is why many businesses inadvertently set up Profiles rather than Pages.
